The service
Overline runs GitHub Actions jobs that ask for runs-on: overline on virtual machines we operate. You use it by installing our GitHub App on your organization. By installing the app or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and your organization.
Your account and your code
You're responsible for the workflows you run and for the people in your organization who trigger them. Your code, secrets and build outputs remain yours; we only process them to run your jobs.
How we handle your data is described in our Privacy Policy.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Overline to:
- Mine cryptocurrency or run workloads unrelated to building, testing or deploying software.
- Attack, scan or disrupt other systems, or try to break out of a job's virtual machine.
- Send spam, host illegal content or infringe others' rights.
- Resell the service without our written permission.
We may stop jobs or suspend access that breaks these rules or puts the service or other customers at risk.
Billing
Usage is measured per job, from the moment its virtual machine starts your job to the moment it ends, and billed at the rates shown when you sign up. We'll give you notice before prices change.
Availability
We work to keep Overline fast and available, but the service is provided as is. Jobs can fail or be delayed, for example during maintenance or hardware failure. You can always switch a workflow back to GitHub's runners by changing runs-on.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, Overline isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending the agreement
You can stop at any time by uninstalling the GitHub App. We may end the agreement with notice, or immediately for serious breaches of these terms. Data is then deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
